Happy October, everyone. Here at work, myself and the team at DUET Plastic Surgery are observing Breast Awareness Month. See my picture? It's a great pear. See what I did there????


From a nutritional perspective, there are some things to be aware of when it comes to your girls and their health. The main thing is to keep your diet at free of non-real-food as possible (that is, additives, chemicals, preservatives and trans-fats), and focus on eating plenty of nutrients with protective or preventative properties. These are your antioxidants, like sprouts, brightly-colored fruits and vegetables, and cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Eat them raw or only very lightly cooked, to get the most protective bang for your buck.


In addition to that, maintaining a healthy weight is one of the greatest health protection measures of all.

All of this might sound like a lot, but I can help you to achieve the small steps that add up to the big goals.
